Introduction:

The https://www.thebravevoice.com/ website (the “Site” and the “Service”) are provided by Taylor Crawford. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Service where they are posted and/or referenced. By using the Service, you accept these Terms.  Please read them carefully.  By using the Service, you also certify that you are above the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.  

Modification:

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.  By continuing to use the Service after we post any such modifications, you accept the modified Terms.

Privacy:

Any personal information you provide through the Service will be used by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the terms of which are incorporated herein by reference.

Cancelation Policy:

Lessons may be canceled via the following mechanisms: cancelation section on the Acuity app via the link in your lesson confirmation/reminder email (available up to 24 hours before your appointment) or an email to taylor@thebravevoice.com, or phone call or text to:

If we receive your cancellation request more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time, you may reschedule your lesson.  If we receive your cancellation request within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, or if you do not contact us to cancel your lesson or you do not show up for your scheduled lesson, you will be charged the full rate for the lesson and forfeit any lesson credit used applied to the lesson. 48 hours notice is greatly appreciated.

If the Instructor has to cancel a pre-paid lesson for any reason, and that lesson cannot be rescheduled to the satisfaction of both parties, the cost will be applied toward a future lesson. Refunds are not available.

Drop-In Lessons:

Students can schedule drop-in lessons of 45 minutes or 60 minutes duration with Taylor Crawford hereafter referred to as “Instructor.” Drop-In lessons can be scheduled via the website scheduling page or by emailing taylor@thebravevoice.com. Rates are listed on the scheduling page and are subject to change. 

Lessons must be paid for at the time of scheduling and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Student will arrive on time for all scheduled lessons. Lessons will end at their scheduled time, regardless of the time of the Student’s arrival.

Students shall provide (by purchasing or borrowing) legal, original copies of all required music for their own use. 

1:1 Lesson Membership:

You may choose to subscribe to our 1:1 Lesson auto-renewal membership program.  If you subscribe to this membership, your payment method will be charged the monthly fee associated with this membership each month, as described to you by us at the time of subscription, for the duration of your enrollment in the membership.  Membership entitles the member to his or her choice of a monthly benefit (the “Member Benefit”), consisting of a recurring guaranteed lesson time slot for (4) 30-minute lessons, (4) 45-minute voice lessons, or (4) 60-minute voice lessons depending on your subscription choice. Member Benefits shall accrue each month and may be used at any time after accrual as long as the membership is active and up to 30 days after membership cancelation. In addition to the monthly Member Benefit, members are entitled to unlimited additional monthly lessons at special member rates and access to certain exclusive member promotions and events which may be in place from time to time.  Accrued but unused monthly Member Benefits will roll over to the next month and be stored in the member’s Acuity account. 

An agreed-upon regular lesson spot can be automatically scheduled for the member, or the member can schedule their own lessons via the online scheduler at their discretion. Lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

A membership may be canceled at any time upon thirty (30) days advance notice via the following mechanisms: the change or cancel subscription button in your confirmation emails or by emailing taylor@thebravevoice.com. Any change in membership status will take effect for the next billing cycle. For the avoidance of doubt, when you cancel a subscription, you cancel only future charges associated with your membership. If a membership is canceled, any accrued but unused Member Benefits will be retained by the member for 30 days after cancelation. Except where required by law, accrued but unused Member Benefits cannot be redeemed for cash or returned for a cash refund.

We reserve the right to terminate or refuse to renew your membership for any reason not prohibited by law including, but not limited to, an unsatisfactory payment history.  We further reserve the right to collect at any time any delinquent or outstanding balance that has not been paid for any services provided or monthly payments owed.  When you subscribe to a membership, you agree to notify us promptly of any relevant changes in your information, including your payment data.

You cannot assign your membership rights or obligations to anyone else.  

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these membership terms shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect.  You or any other individual may obtain access to and purchase any and all services offered by us without subscribing to a membership.  You understand that your membership only entitles you to the benefits set forth in this section of these Terms.  We will provide you with thirty (30) days advance written notice of any increase in the monthly payment (or membership dues) under your membership program. We reserve the right to terminate the membership program at any time for any reason not prohibited by law or for no reason at all.

Right of Publicity: 

By entering this Agreement, you immediately grant Taylor Crawford DBA The Brave Voice the unrestricted, worldwide, royalty‐free right to use, reproduce, publish and otherwise distribute your name, photograph, video presence, personal story, and/or likeness (collectively, “Likenesses”) in advertising and in The Brave Voice promotional materials, in any and all formats, platforms or other media or social media now existing or hereafter created, and you hereby waive all claims for remuneration for such use and you release and forever discharge The Brave Voice from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of Likenesses. This authorization may be canceled at any time (for purposes of future use only) by contacting The Brave Voice by email.
